Louis Y. Shao
My name is Louis Yuanlong Shao. I’m a second-year Ph.D student in the Department of Computer Science, Ohio State University. My supervisor is Prof. Mikhail Belkin.
Before this, I spent six years in the State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University. When I was a master student, I worked with Prof. Xiaofei He and Dr. Deng Cai on machine learning. When I was an undergraduate student, I worked with Dr. Guofeng Zhang and Prof. Hujun Bao on computer vision. I’m also proudly graduated from the Mixed Class.
My life-long objective is to develop human level AI. My current research interests include learning theory, structure learning, statistical modeling and inference, stochastic optimization, many-core distributed computing.
